A Long Overdue Post

I always thought I would be on the computer more when I had the baby but that has not been the case. Chase sleeps a good bit during the day but usually I've been spending my time cleaning up the house or resting or washing clothes. Anyways, here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks.

Chase has been doing great! Eating like a champion which is good! We went to the doctor yesterday and he now weighs 8 pounds! He had reached his birthweight by the end of the first week so we didn't have to go for the two week appointment. He has, however, had some acid reflux problems, so the doctor put him on Zantac to help him get better. We've been taking it for three doses and it seems to work a little bit so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

We were very fortunate to have the grandmothers come stay with us for the two weeks after Chase's birth. They were such a bit help - doing laundry, cleaning, cooking dinner, etc. It gave Matt and I some time to rest and catch up on some sleep (although we are still lacking a good bit). Everyone left this past Sunday so it is now me and Matt here fending for ourselves :) It has been good so far!

Chase's first snow! We took him outside for a SPLIT second to take the picture then ran right back in!

As of March 4th, Chase was 2 weeks old!

My umbilical cord has fallen off so the doc gave mom and dad the ok to have a full bath! They said it was much easier than the sponge bath...Hogan liked it, too! He kept wanting to jump in!

The weather is finally nice out so we can go for walks! I love the fresh air!

Just had to post this one - Chase and daddy :)

  3. He's so handsome! Hope y'all are doing well. Mac took Zantac for a time and acid reflux was NOT our friend. It got better quickly, though, and I hope the same is true for y'all. Let that housework sit and rest up, mama! Keep the pics coming!
